Now is the accepted time.

For we that live please must please to live.

We can secure other people’s approval, if we do right and try hard; but our own is worth a hundred of it, and no way has been found out of securing that.

Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.

Accept – then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it.

Many people resented my impatience and honesty, but I never cared about acceptance as much as I cared about respect.

The acceptance of death gives you more of a stake in life, in living life happily, as it should be lived. Living for the moment.

Accept things to which fate binds you, love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.

Acceptance doesn’t mean resignation; it means understanding that something is what it is and that there’s got to be a way through it.

God, give us the grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the things which should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.

I always love to begin a journey on Sundays, because I shall have the prayers of the church to preserve all that travel by land, or by water.

The thought of only being a creature of the present and the past was troubling. I longed for a future, too, with hope in it. The desire to be free, awakened my determination to act, to think, and to speak.

One who is serious all day will never have a good time, while one who is frivolous all day will never establish a household.

I have arrived. I am home in the here, in the now. I am solid. I am free. In the ultimate I dwell.
