To live a life half dead, a living death.

Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease to exist at death.

Some people die at age 25 and aren't buried until they are 75.

This is the law: The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.

A person with a clear purpose will make progress on even the toughest road. A person with no purpose will make no progress on even the smoothest road.

As a rule, we find what we look for; we achieve what we get ready for.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.

Life is a series of experiences, each one of which makes us bigger, even though sometimes it is hard to realize this. For the world was built to develop character, and we must learn that setbacks and griefs which endure help us in our march forward.
