Against all odds and despite all the obstacles, we are going to make it.

By prevailing over all obstacles and distractions, one may unfailingly arrive at his chosen goal or destination.

Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

There will be obstacles. There will be doubters. There will be mistakes. But with hard work, there are no limits.

Obstacles are necessary for success because in selling, as in all careers of importance, victory comes only after many struggles and countless defeats.

Success is determined not by whether or not you face obstacles, but by your reaction to them. And if you look at these obstacles as a containing fence, they become your excuse for failure. If you look at them as a hurdle, each one strengthens you for the next.

To remain indifferent to the challenges we face is indefensible. If the goal is noble, whether or not it is realized within our lifetime is largely irrelevant. What we must do therefore is to strive and persevere and never give up.

Most obstacles melt away when we make up our minds to walk boldly through them.

If we all can persevere, if we can in every land and office look beyond our own shores and ambitions, then surely the age will dawn in which the strong are just and the weak secure and the peace preserved.

You have to be burning with an idea, or a problem, or a wrong that you want to right. If you're not passionate enough from the start, you'll never stick it out.

Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

Football is like life—it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority.

And, more importantly, reach for the stars. And realize that it is never too late—not now, not ever—for you to pursue you passion, your pursuit of perfection. And most importantly, your perseverance for making it happen.

The necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude and perseverance.

This is the mark of a really admirable man: steadfastness in the face of trouble.

Abandon the idea that you are ever going to finish. Lose track of the 400 pages and write just one page for each day; it helps. Then, when it gets finished, you are always surprised.

Continuous effort — not strength or intelligence — is the key to unlocking our potential.

We can do anything we want to if we stick to it long enough.
